My Chai at Grace Cafe in Rose Street Fitzroy comes sweet and warm in a turquoise tea pot. It’s loose leaves accompanied by a giant pot of honey.
There is a feeling of being in a little tea house somewhere with the world shut out, I could be anywhere right now. It’s actually tranquil inside this former brothel space, it’s unexpected. Only open 3 weeks perhaps it hasn’t been fully discovered yet. Perhaps it’s because my favorite Melbourne market, Rose Street Artists Market, is closed for renovations today.
